Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in South Africa
The ICB is a national governing body that regulates various financial fields, such as bookkeeping, accounting and financial management, while also providing quality education, training and development to meet national and international standards. Qualifications provided by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers are recognised by the International Association of Bookkeepers, the Southern African Institute of Business Accountants and the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners, among others. ICB qualifications also provide the basis for chartered and management accountant study programmes.
